FORNO DOME Pizza Oven

Its distinctive round dome shape ensures optimum air circulation, allowing the rising heat from the wood fire to be distributed evenly over the food. Inside, a high-quality pizza stone made of cordierite – an extremely heat-resistant ceramic – guarantees excellent heat retention for perfectly crispy bases without any loss of temperature. Crafted from solid, three-millimetre-thick Corten steel, the structure withstands the elements all year round and develops a vibrant, protective rust patina which, as a sculptural design feature, enhances the look of any outdoor space. Compared to ordinary barbecues or standard ovens, this system offers a controlled, professional-quality baking experience that makes baking up to two pizzas at the same time a pure delight.

Expert tip: Start heating slowly using small, dry pieces of wood and firelighters to gently bring the oven up to operating temperature before adding larger pieces of wood to create the perfect flames.

Important note:

• Place the DOME on a firm, heat-resistant surface.
• Includes a flue and rain cap.
• Use a roof flue if the DOME is installed under a canopy.
• Use one wall bracket per metre of flue or one roof vent.
• The products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from collecting between the packaging and the product. This can lead to uneven rust patches.
• It is not recommended to use Corten steel within a 2 km radius of the coast.
• Rust can be removed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the product and prevents the Corten steel from staining.
• Clean the product annually by hosing off any coarse dirt with tap water.
