Description
This nesting box, made of high-quality pine wood and zin,c provides squirrels with a place to live and sleep in as well as store their food. The animals usually create several nests (cobles) so that they can quickly move to another cobble in the event of danger.
It makes sense to hang several cobles within sight of each other. A squirrel box is characterised by the availability of several entrances. It is important to place one entrance close to the trunk to provide the squirrels with the necessary security. This allows them to leave the box quickly in case of danger. Mount the squirrel house as high up in a tree as possible and, if possible, near a fork in a branch facing south-east.
